The NWT Breast Health/Breast Cancer Action Group partners with national and respected organizations including the former Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Prairies/NWT and Willow, Public Health Agency of Canada, Canadian Breast Cancer Network and Canadian Cancer Society. We have a well-established relationship with the Government of the Northwest Territories and GNWT health providers. We are a member of the inter-agency NWT Breast Health Advisory Committee, and have participated in the CIBC Run for Our Lives/Mud Run, NWT initiatives to raise money to help finance cancer support equipment and programs in the NWT.
The Action Group is very grateful for financial support for our projects in recent years received from: the Public Health Agency of Canada, CIBC Run For Our Lives, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Prairies/NWT, the Government of the Northwest Territories, United Way NWT, the Field Law Community Fund, City of Yellowknife and Hotıì ts’eeda NWT SPOR.
Many other organizations have generously made in-kind donations of meeting or office space, food, advertising, printing, internet services or other items, which have made it possible for us to carry out our work.
