You are not alone. Please listen to the voices and experiences of these people sharing their experience of having cancer.
The first film, below, is four First Nations women from the NWT telling their story of having breast cancer. Each one speaks about getting the diagnosis of breast cancer, telling their families, the challenge of many trips far away from home, and how they got through it. There are common themes but, just as every snowflake is unique, every woman with breast cancer has her own experience. Find out what these women learned about themselves, and what they want you to know.
Below are more films of other Canadians speaking on a variety of themes related to cancer, courtesy of Cancerview Canada.
